Katie Holmes
Attended IMTA: 1993 & 1995
Following IMTA signed with: Onorato/Guillod Entertainment
BIOGRAPHY:
While competing at IMTA, Katie caught the eye of manager Al Onorato, who helped launch her career. Following a feature film debut in
Ang Lee’s The Ice Storm, she became known in households across America during a 6-year run as Joey Potter in the television
series Dawson's Creek. From Dawson's Creek, Katie’s career expanded to more feature films, including Teaching Mrs. Tingle,
Phonebooth, Pieces of April, First Daughter, Batman Begins and Thank You for Smoking, The Kennedys
and The Romantics. She has appeared many times on Saturday Night Live and is currently working on several new films.
Let's just say, a girl from Toledo would never end up in a Hollywood movie if it weren't for the IMTA.
